The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) works to improve the lives of the one in five individuals with learning and attention issues by empowering parents and young adults, transforming schools and creating policy and advocacy impact. Position Overview: NCLD is currently looking to add capacity to a growing Development team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative donor relations officer to develop, implement, and track the organization’s communications with prospective and active donors. Reporting to the senior director of strategic growth, the donor relations officer will directly manage a portfolio of mid-level donors while providing strategic, behind-the-scenes facilitation of NCLD’s moves management process with all donors. A highly skilled communicator with an aptitude for relationship building, the officer will serve as an important ambassador for NCLD and facilitate the development of long-term engagement with our donor audiences.
