Organization Overview: The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) works to improve the lives of the one in five individuals with learning and attention issues by empowering parents and young adults, transforming schools and creating policy and advocacy impact. We envision a society in which every individual who struggles to learn possesses the academic, social and emotional skills needed to succeed in school, at work and in life. Position Overview: The Director of Major Gifts is responsible for advancing philanthropic support from individuals to build a robust base of major gift ($10,000+) support for NCLD. S/he is an integral member of the development team and works closely with the Senior Director, Strategic Growth and NCLD leadership to develop and execute the organization’s short- and long-term fundraising strategies for high-level individual giving.
